Newborn child found dead

Rajbiraj - A newborn child was found dead near the Gaindi bridge at Krishna Sawaran Rural Municipality-2 of Saptari on Monday. 

The Area Police Office, Rupani stated that the infant was born of Saraswati Devi Saha of Rupani Rural Municipality and the body abandoned in the river. Locals had informed the police after sighting the child's body in the river. Police said an investigation is on. 

Similarly, a body of a child was found floating on the Koshi River at Koiladi Rural Municipality-6 in Saptari district. The body is that of eight-year-old Kamal Sada from Koiladi-6, the District Police Office, Saptari said.
