Kathmandu. Bangladesh government is going to buy 40 MW electricity from Nepal.

Bangladesh government has decided to buy 40 megawatts of electricity from Nepal, according to Bangladesh's media New Age. In the news, the Bangladesh government will purchase directly from Nepal using the national grid.

Tripartite agreement between Nepal, India and Bangladesh will be required for the implementation of this decision.

(Earlier in the news it was India where Bangladesh should have been, so it has been corrected with apologies.)
