 The cold has suddenly increased in Bara and surrounding areas since Thursday morning. According to Water and Meteorology Department Field Office Simra, there was a sudden drop in the maximum temperature on Thursday compared to Wednesday.
Most of the air flights from Simra Airport were also disrupted due to the inclement weather with fog and fog throughout the day on Thursday.
‘When measuring the 24-hour temperature, today (Thursday) the minimum temperature has dropped to around 13 to 14, while the maximum temperature is 20 degrees Celsius. While the maximum temperature till yesterday was 27 degrees,’ Laxman Prasad Kandel, technician of Simra Airport Weather Branch said.
Simra Airport Weather Branch has informed that the weather will improve on Friday. Last year, the temperature around Simra reached a minimum of 2 degrees.

Buddha Air Simra branch chief Suresh Regmi said that the flight from Simra airport was canceled due to the storm throughout the day even though the weather cleared up in the morning.

Usually 2 thousand 400 visibility (transparency) is required for air flight from Simra to Kathmandu. But today the visibility of Simra Airport was only 1500 maximum.

Buddh, Yeti, Shree Airlines companies make a dozen flights from Simra Airport by big & small ships.
