Koshi region's fourth loss in a row, Madhesh won by 2 wickets

Kathmandu. Veer Ganeshman Singh T20 National Cricket Championship in their last match, Madhesh Pradesh won. Madhesh province defeated Koshi province by two wickets in the second match held on Tuesday at Mulpani cricket ground in Kathmandu. 

This is the third victory achieved by Madhesh Pradesh in the competition organized by Veer Ganeshman Singh Sports Committee. Madhesh Pradesh has been defeated in two matches. Koshi province has continued its poor performance in the competition. This is the fourth consecutive hor of Koshi region. 

Koshi Pradesh won the toss and decided to bat first. Madhesh Pradesh, who came down to bat in reply, achieved the victory target by losing eight wickets in 17.1 overs.

Vishal Patel contributed 37 runs in the victory of Madhesh Pradesh. He also hit 6 fours off 25 balls. Opener batsman Rohan BK scored 31 unbeaten runs. He also hit three fours in 44 balls. 

Another opener Sahil Patel also scored 11 runs. Koshi bowler Shravan Yadab took four wickets. He spent only 18 runs in four overs keeping a maiden. Dipesh Kandel also took three wickets. Another wicket was taken by Gyanendra Shrestha.

Before that, Samir Karki scored 28 runs, Shravan Yadab scored 27 runs and Sujan Thapalia scored 16 runs for Koshi Pradesh who batted first. Other batsmen of Koshi Pradesh were not able to score runs in double figures. 

Koshi Pradesh also got nine runs in addition. Madhesh Pradesh bowlers Vishal Patel, Avishek Tiwari, Ranjit Kumar and Pradeep Paswan took two wickets each. Vishal Patel of Madhesh Pradesh was declared Man of the Match in that match.
