Most parts of Bardiya inundated
Bardiya - Dozens of houses have been inundated due to the incessant rainfall in different parts of the district. According to Superintendent of Police Bharat Bohora, large part of areas in Balapur, Jeshipur, Pandipur,Taruwa, Ratnapur, Kothigaun areas of Gulariya Municipality have been inundated.
Similarly, Barbardiya Municipality wards no 1, 2, 3, 4 and 11 and Teriya and Saptarighat villages of Rajapur municipality have also been submerged in the flood water.
Likewise, Bagmaha, Myaulapur, Khairichandanpur, Daulatpur, Manugaun remain inundated.
The water level in various rivers in the district is also rising.
Meanwhile, Rajendra Tharu, 30, of Barbardiya municiplity-9 and another 60-year old local have gone missing in the flood since yesterday.
