Sharma's hearing to continue on Wednesday

Kathmandu - The hearing on the case of corruption involving Inland Revenue Department's Director General Chudamani Sharma at the Supreme Court (SC) has been put on hold till Wednesday.

A full bench of Justices Dipak Raj Joshi, Dipak Kumar Karki, Kedar Prasad Chalise, Sharada Prasad Ghimire and Anil Kumar Sinha has kept the time for hearing on Wednesday as the time was insufficient while hearing on Tuesday, SC's Spokesperson Mahendra Nath Upadhyay said.

On Tuesday, Deputy Attorney General Kiran Poudel, Joint Attorney General Hari Prasad Joshi and Padma Prasad Pandey had pleaded from the government side.

Likewise, Sharma has been shifted to the judicial custody from the custody of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) from Tuesday after SC's directive.
