Preparations in New Baneshwar for newly elected MPs to take oath

Kathmandu - The Federal Secretariat has started preparations for the oath ceremony of the newly elected Members of Parliament(MP)s. Rojnath Pandey, Spokesperson of the Federal Parliament, informed that physical management work is going on in the Parliament Building at the International Conference Center in Naya Baneshwar.

Pashupati Shamsher Jabara, a senior member of the Assembly, has been sent to the President Building to administer the oath to the newly elected 275 MPs. Spokesperson Pandey informed that domestic and foreign guests have also been invited to the oath ceremony to be held at 1 pm on Thursday.

Also, Dr. Pushpa Rijal, the physician of the Federal Parliament, informed that emergency treatment services have been arranged for MPs as well. He said that the arrangements for first aid and the medical export team are being prepared.

The secretariat will also hold a tea ceremony for the parliamentarians in the parliament building premises after taking the oath.
