Energy Minister of Gandaki Province being dismissed

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Hari Sharan Acharya, Minister for Energy and Irrigation of Gandaki Province is set to be dismissed from his post by the Chief Minister of the Province Krishna Chandra Nepali.

Acharya has been accused of supporting candidates of CPN-UML for the upcoming polls. However, Acharya has maintained that he is unaware about the situation. “I have not supported any candidates,” said Acharya adding that it is just a conspiracy against him.

According to a minister of the province, the chief minister Nepali is preparing to send a letter to the chief of the province regarding the dismissal of Acharya from his post.
