Chinese Speaker Li arriving in Nepal today
KATHMANDU, Sep 12: Li Zhanshu, the current Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the Chinese Speaker, is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu on Monday.
According to the Ministry of Foreign AffairS, Li is visiting Nepal on the invitation of his counterpart, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota.
Li will be staying in Nepal for three days along with other Chinese delegations.
Speaker Sapkota and Chinese leader Li are scheduled to hold a meeting on Monday. Besides, Li will be calling on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka on Tuesday. Likewise, he will be calling on President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday.
Similarly, Speaker Li will also be holding meetings with KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of CPN-UML and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN (Maoist Center) during his stay in Nepal.
