542 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, Aug 18: Nepal recorded 542 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, taking the country’s COVID-19 active case tally to 5,256.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), as many as 4,930 people had undergone COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours.

Likewise, 421 people who had earlier been diagnosed with the disease have recovered in the same time.
