84 political parties registered at EC for upcoming general elections (with list)

KATHMANDU, Aug 17: As many as 84 political parties have been registered at the Election Commission (EC) to contest in the upcoming federal and provincial elections.
According to Saligram Sharma Poudel, spokesperson at the EC, as many as 84 political parties have been registered for the upcoming polls.
As per the order of the registration at the poll body, CK Raut-led Janamat Party is at the top of the list while Rabi Lamichhane-led Swatantra Party is at the bottom of the list.
The poll body is scheduled to study and investigate the registrations from Wednesday.
