Party leaders proposed to Chair Dahal to compete in upcoming polls from four districts

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has got proposals to compete in the upcoming general elections from four various districts.

Party leaders have asked Dahal not to compete in the polls from Chitwan this time. They have rather asked him to compete from Gorkha-1 or Dhanusha-1 or Sindhuli-2 or Siraha-3.

However, Dahal hasn’t made any decisions regarding the issue so far. Dahal has been seen frequently saying that he wants to compete in the elections from Chitwan-3.

In the first constitutional assembly election, Dahal was elected from Rolpa and Kathmandu. In the second constitutional assembly election, he competed from Kathmandu and Siraha and was elected from Siraha. Likewise, in 2074, Dahal was elected to the House of Representatives from Chitwan-3.
