Bhattari’s new party to be called ‘Nepal Samajbadi Party’

KATHMANDU, July 25: Babu Ram Bhattari, federal council chair of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) is preparing to form a new political party after the JSP decided to take action against him.
According to Ganga Shrestha, leader close to the Bhattari faction of JSP, the new party will be called ‘Nepal Samajbadi Party’. However, Bhattari is yet to decide on the Chairman of the party.
“The name has been already sent to the Election Commission and the poll body is also positive about it.”
The party is likely to have ‘eye’ as its election symbol.
