In  alarming case, Nepal records 457 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday

One succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

KATHMANDU, July 18: Nepal on Monday recorded 457 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 4,651 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Of them, 457 turned out to be positive for the disease.

Likewise, a person died of the disease in the past 24 hours.

There are currently 1,776 active cases of COVID-19 across the country as of Monday afternoon.

The Kathmandu Valley on Monday recorded 218 new cases of COVID-19. Of them, 163 were detected in Kathmandu, 10 in Bhaktapur and 45 in Lalitpur districts.
