Chair Yadav decides to take action against Bhattarai

KATHMANDU, June 28: A fraction in the Janata Samajbadi Party-led by Chairman Upendra Yadav has decided to take action against Dr Babu Ram Bhattarai, Federal Committee Chair, and leaders close to him.

A meeting of the party held earlier on Monday took a decision to this effect. The party has also given the responsibility of taking action to Chairman Yadav. 

Chairman Yadav and Bhattarai have been in disputes in the party for the last few months.

The Bhattarai-led faction of the party had accused Chairman Yadav of taking decisions solely and trying to establish a monopoly in the party. Bhattarai had also begun collecting signatures from the fellow party leaders to take action against Chair Yadav.
