CPN-UML demands to remove business schedule of answering by FinMin Sharma on the appropriation bill in HoR meeting

UML to boycott the meeting if not removed.

KATHMANDU, June 14: The CPN-UML, the main opposition party, has demanded to remove the business schedule of answering by Finance Minister Janardan Sharma about the queries raised during deliberations on the budget appropriation bill in the ongoing meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Addressing the HoR meeting on Tuesday, Bishal Bhattarai, the chief whip of CPN-UML maintained that the party will boycott the meeting if the agenda is not removed from the business list of the meeting.

Bhattarai also stated that the party is not ready to discuss and listen to Finance Minister Sharma as it has been learnt that Sharma involved outsiders during preparation of the budget and changed some taxes in their favor.
