India reports 3,275 more COVID-19 cases

NEW DELHI, May 5: India has registered 3,275 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours, bringing the COVID-19 tally to 43,091,393, the health ministry's latest data showed Thursday.

Up to 1,354 (over 41 percent) of the new cases were reported from Delhi. Presently, there are 5,853 active cases in the capital city, and 19,719 active cases in the country.

Besides, 55 more deaths across the country took the total death toll to 523,975.

So far, 42,547,699 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals, with 3,010 discharged during the past 24 hours.
