Complaint filed against UML’s Lalitpur metropolis candidate Shakya

KATHMANDU, April 26: A complaint has been filed against Manjali Shakya, CPN-UML’s candidate for the post of deputy mayor of Lalitpur metropolis demanding to scrap the nomination.

Gyan Bahadur Khatri had filed a nomination on behalf of Shakya on Tuesday.

It has been learnt that Shakya's name was on the closed list of proportional candidates in the 2074 BS Provincial Assembly Election and her name was not removed from the list while filing nominations for the post of deputy mayor of the metropolis.
