UML finalizes candidate for post of mayor of Biratnagar metropolis

KATHMANDU, April 25: The main opposition party, CPN-UML, has finalized its candidates for the post of mayor and deputy mayor of Biratnagar Metropolitan City.

The party has decided to field the candidacy of Sagar Thapa for the post of mayor of the metropolis, according to Ganashyam Kathiwada, member of the federal parliament.

Thapa is also the Chairman of UML’s Biratnagar Committee.
