Balen Shah registers his candidacy for KMC’s mayor

KATHMANDU, April 24: Balen Shah, an independent candidate, registered his candidacy for the post of Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Sunday.
Before filing his nominations for the post, Shah had made public 24 points commitments earlier this morning.
Educational and health reforms, environment conservation and conservation of urban heritages have made it to the top of Shah’s commitments.
After registering candidacy for the post, Shah claimed that he would garner as many as 90,835 votes and win the election.
