PHOTOS: Newly appointed NA member Dahal sworn in

KATHMANDU, April 12: Newly elected member of National Assembly (NA), Narayan Dahal, leader of CPN (Maoist Center) took an oath of office and secrecy on Tuesday.

Dahal was sworn in as a member of NA amid an event held at the secretariat of the federal parliament at 11:30 AM today.

Speaker of the upper house, Ganesh Timilsina administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dahal and welcomed him.

Dahal was nominated a member of NA by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday on recommendation of the government as per Article 86 (20) of the Constitution of Nepal.
