KATHMANDU, March 22: Actress Karishma Manandhar has given three major reasons for choosing the CPN-UML.
Addressing an event organized to welcome her in the party on Tuesday, Manandhar maintained that she joined the party to serve the nation.
“I have decided to move ahead in politics being a part of the CPN-UML,” said Manandhar.
Besides, she also maintained that the personality of Chairman KP Sharma Oli, his working style, policies and popularity among the general public made her join the party.
“Leaders are the one who guide the people and I found that quality in KP Sharma Oli, '' she added.
“Similarly, the party has given a top priority to equality and social justice along with democracy,'' said Manandhar.
Besides, according to Manandhar, UML being the largest party in the country also encouraged her to join the party.
