Meeting of the ruling alliance underway

KATHMANDU, Feb 27: The meeting of the ruling alliance is currently underway at Baluwatar.
The meeting is likely to take some crucial decisions regarding the ratification of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
The meeting kicked off at 11 AM, according to Bhanu Deuba, personal secretary of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
With the ‘interpretative declaration’, the ruling alliance is likely to forge a consensus to ratify the MCC compact.
A central committee meeting of the party held on Sunday took a decision to ratify the MCC compact agreement with an ‘interpretative declaration’.
