HoR meeting put off for Friday

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been postponed for Friday.
The meeting that was due to be held at 1 pm on Thursday has been scheduled for 1 PM on Friday at the request of the government, according to the Press Advisor of the Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, Shreedar Neupane.
Today’s HoR meeting was scheduled to hold a discussion on the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement.
As the government has tabled the $500 million American grant in parliament, the key leaders are busy forging consensus regarding the ratification of the compact.
