We will protect the ruling alliance: Maoist Center’s Chair Dahal

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center), key coalition partner of the government, Pushpa Kamal Dahal has maintained that the present ruling alliance will be protected from splitting.

Ahead of the ruling alliance’s meeting, key leaders of the ruling alliance, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal and Janata Samajbadi Party’s leader Rajendra Shrestha held a discussion recently. 

After the meeting, Dahal said that the leaders want the coalition to be protected.

The meeting dwelled on protection of the alliance and solution for the Millennium Corporate Challenge (MCC), according to Dahal.

When asked if MC will withdraw its support to the government, Dahal maintained that it will be known after the meeting of the ruling alliance scheduled for 5 PM later today.
