Following registration of impeachment motion against CJ Rana, UML summons secretariat, parliamentary party meeting

KATHMANDU, Feb 13: Hours after the registration of an impeachment motion registered against the Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana, the main opposition party CPN-UML has called its secretariat and parliamentary party meeting.

The secretariat meeting has been summoned for 6 PM on Sunday, according to Subash Nembang, Vice-Chairman and deputy parliamentary party leader of the UML.

The meeting will dwell on registration of an impeachment motion by 98 lawmakers including lawmakers of the ruling alliance.

Likewise, the parliamentary party meeting has been scheduled for 11 AM on Monday.
