Dahal heads to Madhesh after holding discussion with PM Deuba

KATHMANDU, Feb 13: The key leaders of the ruling alliance, Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal, held a discussion at Baluwatar in the capital on Sunday morning.

Following the discussion, MC’s Chair Dahal has headed to Madhesh Province.

It has been learnt that the three leaders discussed ratifying the Millennium Corporate Challenge (MCC) during the meeting.

According to the sources, PM Deuba was reluctant in tabeling the MCC while Dahal and Nepal opposed Deuba’s view stating that it cannot be ratified without amendment.

The three leaders had held a similar meeting on Saturday as well.
