8,267 corona patients recover, nine die on Tuesday

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: As many as 8,267 people recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday.
With Tuesday’s tally, the recovery percent hit 91 percent of the total infections.
Meanwhile, as many as 5,583 more people tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday afternoon. The new cases were detected through the 17,674 tests carried out across the country.
Likewise, nine patients died due to COVID-19 related complications, taking the fatality tally to 11,752.
According to the health ministry, there are as many as 74,653 active cases of the disease as of Tuesday.
