4,961 more COVID-19 cases detected, active caseload surpasses 25,000

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: Officials confirmed as many as 4,961 more people tested positive for COVID-19 across the country on Sunday.
The health ministry shared that those cases were detected through 15,131 tests carried out in the past 24 hours.
With this, the total number of active cases of the disease has jumped to 25,680.
Meanwhile, three people died due to coronavirus infection on Sunday.
