KATHMANDU, Jan 11: The three districts in the Kathmandu Valley reported a total of 1,286 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease on Tuesday. 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Kathmandu district witnessed 980 new cases, Lalitpur 221 and Bhaktapur saw 85 new infections in the past 24 hours. 

Meanwhile, as many as 2,444 new infections were confirmed from across the country in the period.
