Constitution promulgated through CA due to Prachanda’s efforts: PM Deuba

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the new constitution had been promulgated through the Constituent Assembly (CA) due to the CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s efforts. 

Addressing the inaugural session of the Eighth General Convention of the ruling Maoist Center in the capital on Sunday, Deuba, who is also president of Nepali Congress (NC), lauded Prachanda’s political contribution, saying that the election of CA was held due to the firm stance of the latter. 

On the occasion, Deuba also said that the five-party alliance is not against any political force. He reiterated that the alliance was formed in order to ensure that the lower House remains intact throughout the full tenure.
