Three-member task force formed to discuss MCC

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The five-party ruling alliance on Sunday constituted a three-member task force to  ‘resolve’ the issues over the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). 

The task force comprises Jhalanath Khanal, a leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist); Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, a Nepali Congress leader and Minister for Communication and Naryankaji Shrestha, a CPN (Maoist Center) leader. 

The meeting was held ahead of the all-party meeting at the Baluwatar-based prime minister’s official residence. 

The task force is expected to discuss the MCC and draw a concrete conclusion, a leader of one of the ruling partners told Ratopati. 

The colation comprises Janata Samjbadi Party (JSP) and Rastriya Janamorcha along with NC, Maoist Center and Unified Socialist.
