NC VOTE-COUNT UPDATE: 1,900 votes counted, Koirala secures 770

KATHMANDU: Sher Bahadur Deuba, incumbent president of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC), is leading the vote-count for the party president. 

In the vote-count underway at the City Hall in the capital, Deuba has secured 1,900 votes. Dr Shekhar Koirala, on the other hand, has so far won 770 votes.

As many as 1,900 votes have so far been counted.
