Vote-count for NC president: Deuba leading, Koirala trailing behind

KATHMANDU: Sher Bahadur Deuba is leading the vote-count for Nepali Congress (NC) presidency with 1,051 votes.
Of the total 2,206 votes counted so far, Deuba’s nearest contender Dr Shekhar Koirala has garnered 793 votes,
While Prakash Man Singh got 205 votes, Bimalendra Nidhi won 174. Similarly, Kalyan Gurung has so far garnered 10 votes.
As many as 4,679 delegates participated in the voting that ended at 11:30 PM on Monday.
