Nidhi, Koirala file nominations for NC Prez

KATHMANDU: Bimalendra Nidhi and Dr Shekhar Koirala have filed their nominations as the candidates for the presidency of the Nepali Congress (NC). 

While Nidhi has not formed a panel for the election, Koirala constituted a team of candidates including Chandra Bhandari and Dhanraj Gurung as vice presidents. Similarly, Gagan Thapa and Minendra Rijal will vie for the general secretary. 

With this, as many as four leaders have so far registered their nominations for the party’s president.

Prakash Man Singh and Kalyan Gurung have also filed their candidacy for the same position.
