Race for UML secretarial positions: Who secured how many votes?

KATHMANDU: Of the nine contesting for seven secretarial positions in the CPN-UML, Bhim Acharya and Tanka Karki were not elected. 

While Acharya secured 788 votes, Karki got only 559 votes. 

Gokarna Bista, one of the elected secretaries, garnered a total of 1974 votes followed by Yogesh Bhattarai’s 1960 votes. Similarly, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, who joined UML in March, secured 1804 votes, Chabilal Bishwokarma 1803 votes, Padma Aryal 1799 and Raghubir Mahaseth 1500 votes.
