UML 10th National Congress: Poll period extended by 30 mins

KATHMANDU, November 30: The voting time for the ongoing election for various positions in CPN-UML, the main opposition party, under the 10th National Congress of the party has been extended by 30 minutes.

The voting that started late at night on Monday was scheduled to end at 10 AM on Tuesday, but as some voters are still on queue to cast their votes, the time frame decided earlier has been extended by 30 minutes.

So far, as many as 1,700 representatives have already casted their votes in the election, according to Babu Ram Dahal, a member of the Election Commission of the party.
