Maoist Center to hold conferences in local units today, Prachanda to address virtually

KATHMANDU: Ruling CPN (Maoist Center) is holding its local level conference on Saturday.
The conferences will elect new leadership in all 753 local units.
Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is scheduled to address the conferences virtually at 1 PM.
According to the party’s election commission head, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, the conferences will also elect delegates for the province-level conferences to be held on December 11.
The party is scheduled to hold its national conference from December 26 to 28.
