KATHMANDU, October 23: Biratnagar Airport in Morang district has resumed its service from Saturday.
The Airport was inundated and suffered several damages due to unseasonal incessant rainfall this week.
Biratnagar Airport has resumed its service and there will be 18 flights from the airport today, said Rajkumar Chhetri, Director General of the Nepal Civil Aviation.
Most parts of Nepal witnessed heavy downpour, floods and landslides in recent days. Most of the domestic airports were inundate and were forced to ground their aircrafts halting the service amid a peak festive season.
