Nepal resumes visa-on-arrival service for foreign tourists

KATHMANDU: Government has resumed issuing ‘conditional’ visa-on-arrival for foreign tourists.

With the new decision, foreign nationals, who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, would be able to visit Nepal.

Foreign travelers must submit a document certifying complete vaccination along with a negative PCR report produced within 72 hours of flight check-in.

Visa services remained suspended following May earlier this year owing to COVID-19 infection fears.
