UML Chair Oli directs party’s lawmakers to continue House obstruction

KATHMANDU: Alleging Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota of being part of the 'conspiracy' to split his party, chairman of main opposition CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has directed the lawmakers of the party to continue obstructing the House meetings.

Addressing a meeting of the UML parliamentary party on Sunday, Oli, who is also the former prime minister, issued the directive to continue obstruction. 

The UML has been obstructing the meetings of the House of Representatives (HoR) after the new House session began on Wednesday, last week.
