Bagmati CM Shakya to expand cabinet on Wednesday

Shakya to appoint five ministers and four state ministers 

KATHMANDU, September 8: The chief minister of Bagmati Province Asta Laxmi Shakya is to expand the cabinet today after 21 days of her appointment.

“The preparations to expand the cabinet have begun,” said Dipak Niraula, chief whip of the CPN-UML of Bagmati Province. “Shakya is likely to appoint five ministers and four state ministers.”

However, names of those lawmakers to be appointed have not been disclosed yet.

Shakya is likely to appoint ministers and state ministers this afternoon, according to Niraula.
