Maoist Center calls emergency Standing Committee meeting

KATHMANDU: Ruling CPN (Maoist Center) has called an emergency Standing Committee meeting. 

Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda” summoned the meeting at its Paris Danda-based headquarters. 

“The meeting began a while ago,” said Bishnu Sapkota, press aide to Chairman Prachanda. He further added that the meeting is discussing the party's organizational issues. 

An SC meeting last week designated in-charges and deputy in-charges of seven provinces and chiefs of the district coordination committees.
