Verification of NCP (Unified Socialist) over: 55 CC members, 29 MPs authenticate their signatures

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Verification process of the NCP (Unified Socialist) at the Election Commission (EC)has been concluded.
EC summoned the central committee members and lawmakers on Wednesday to verify their signatures after a splinter faction of the CPN-UML had applied for the registration of the party under the leadership of Madhav Kumar Nepal.
As many as 29 members of the federal parliament and 55 central committee members reached the poll body to authenticate their signatures.
