COVID-19 in Nepal: 20,532 cases added this week, 227 people died

KATHMANDU, Aug 21: Nepal reported a total of 20,532 new cases of the coronavirus disease in the past seven days.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Nepal witnessed the highest number of corona cases on Monday (3,451) and the lowest (2,075) on Saturday.
As the coronavirus disease keeps on ravaging across the country, 227 people succumbed to the disease with the highest single-day fatalities on Wednesday (43). With this, the country’s fatality tally stands at 10,485.
