PICTURES: Students being administered corona vaccine in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: The government, on Thursday, started inoculating vaccines against the novel coronavirus disease to high-school students. 

The new campaign kicked off administering China-made Verocell vaccines to grade 11 and 12 students in Kathmandu district. The students are required to produce their examination admission cards. Similarly, those appearing for entrance examinations of various universities are also receiving the vaccine. 

The Kathmandu Metropolitan (KMC) has designated eight more vaccination centers for these purposes. 

The vaccine can be received from 10 AM to 5PM in all 32 wards office of KMC, Radha Swami Isolation Center, Arm Police Force Hospital, Bir Hospital, Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, Civil Hospital, Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital and Birendra Sainik Hospital.
