Govt inoculating first dose of Verocell to people above 40, 10+2 students

KATHMANDU, August 20: The government has begun administering the Vero Cell vaccine against COVID-19 to people who are 40 years old or older. 

Likewise, the vaccine will also be given to students of Grade 11 and 12 who are 18 years old or above.

The Kathmandu Metropolitan (KMC) has added eight more vaccination centers for these purposes. 

The vaccine can be received from 10 AM to 5PM in all 32 wards office of KMC, Radha Swami Isolation Center, Arm Police Force Hospital, Bir Hospital, Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, Civil Hospital, Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital and Birendra Sainik Hospital.
