Local representatives free to join CPN-UML (Samajbadi), won’t be relieved from their posts

KATHMANDU, August 19: As per the ordinance issued by the government re;ated to the split of political party, local representatives at local and provincial level are free to join CPN-UML (Samajbadi).

Likewise, if they joined either CPN-UML or CPN-UML (Samajbadi), ther won’t be relieved from their post. The lawmakers will be given 21 days after the split of party to either remain in the same party or join a new one.

As per Sub-Article 2(A) of Article 33 of the ordinance, lawmakers joining a new party after the split of the party won't be relieved from their post. 

Sprinter faction of CPN-UML-led by Madhav Kumar Nepal registered a party named CPN-UML (Samahbadi) on Wednesday.
