Nepal receives financial assistance of Rs 43 million from Pakistan to combat COVID-19
KATHMANDU, July 2: Haider Shah, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, called upon Dr. Khagaraj Baral, secretary at Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) on Tuesday.
The ambassador during the meeting handed over a cheque amounting to Rs 43 million as financial assistance by the Government of Pakistan to Nepal for its fight against COVID-19.
Secretary Baral thanked the government and the people of Pakistan for contributing generously for the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 in Nepal.
The financial assistance is part of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund for SAARC member countries pledged by the Government of Pakistan.
