UML's Khanal-Nepal faction to boycott CC meeting

KATHMANDU, July 2: The faction led by two CPN-UML senior leaders --- Jhalanath Khanal and Madhav Kumar Nepal--- has decided not to attend the Central Committee (CC) meeting of the party.
The meeting has been summoned by the establishment faction of the party for Friday.
The meeting of the leaders close to the faction, held in Buddhanagar on Thursday, unanimously decided to boycott the CC meeting, according to a leader of the faction, Yogesh Bhattarai.
The UML's establishment faction led by Chairman KP Sharma Oli summoned the meeting of the CC for Friday after dissolving the 10th General Convention Organizing Committee.T wenty former CPN (Maoist Center) leaders were also included in the CC, which is being objected by the dissident faction.
The Khanal-Nepal faction has been demanding a package agreement.
